Rer/bio: I was released from the Marine Corps on 14Feb46, but 
remained in the Reserve, returned to college, and upon graduation was 
commissioned in the Former Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserver 
Meritorious Non-commissioned Officers program. I returned to active 
duty on 30Nov50, was sent to FMFPac as an historical officer. Went to 
Basic School in Sep51, and was deployed to Korea in Nov52. Was made 
Division Order of Battle Officer, was transferred to 2/5 as S-2 in 
Mar53, ExO, E/2/5 shortly after, and then Asst S-4, 5th Marines. Was 
released from active duty as a captain in Nov53. Of interest, was G-2 
Watch Officer during Reno-Carson-Vegas fight. The incoming message 
traffic was interesting to say the least. BMF
