Re: POW: McCain's Legislative Record in Support of the FullestPossible Acco...
I can think of few better ways to continue this sham than by finding a "POW
war hero" to put his name to yet another of the endless committees
established for this subject. One more committee, one more layer of
bureaucracy, one more sham. And the bottom line?
"although some POWs may not have returned at the end of the Vietnam war in
1973, there was no credible evidence to suggest that any were still alive in
captivity."
Oh.
So what happened to those left behind? How does the government know that
no on is still alive? And if the government does know, why isn't it meeting
the public standards of truth it proclaims so loudly in these bravo sierra
committee hearings? More to the point, why is McCain trumpeting his
involvement in this sham as part of his political qualifictions that deserve
our vote?
