I disagree.  I fought both at a very intimate level.  They were not the same, 
and they evolved on different paths as the war progressed.  We fought a 
"people's war" in Vietnam, and we could not even spell it!  Essentially, we 
learned the wrong lessons from Korea.  My least kind thought: we thought they 
were the same because both were in Asia and we understood neither the people, 
their language, their history, nor even what we were doing.
