You may be looking for something that does not exist. My concern is that you
have to catch the portrait of the soldiers we had when we went to Korea.
They couldn't spell communism, nor were they there to fight some specific
beliefs or fight for some other. The abysmal ignorance of soldiers doing the
fighting and the nation from which they came did not have them fighting for a
particular purpose. They were "fighting" because they were taken to where it
was going on and told how to tell the difference between the good guys and
their enemies. Often this was a matter of locale, dress and equipment.
I will post you some stories of early battles if this would be of interest to
you.
