Damn. Should have made the connection with your name.  Sorry about that.
I'll do some checking around with the guys who were on Ch'o-do in October
1951 and see if anyone remembers anything.  I suspect your visitors were
probably from Far East Command Liaison Detachment, Korea, 8240th AU,
who were preparing to take over Partisan and all Army positive intelligence/
Special Operations in Korea at the time.  The take over officially took place
10 Dec 1951.  If this hunch is correct, then LTC (at that time) J.D. Vanderpool
was probably one of the visitors.
