Carl,

I was the one who asked, not Marty.  And from your information, it is the
same guy.  Joe was with the 5th Ranger Infantry Company Airborne, and
transferred to the 8th Army G-3 Miscellaneous Group, 8086th AU, after
getting out the hospital in May 1951.  He took command of Task Force
Kirkland (East Coast Partisans) in either September or October 1951. Joe
will be appearing in an upcoming History Channel documentary on Korean
War Special Operations.
