Caucasians in MIG's

US NEWS & WORLD REPORT reported during the Korean War in several issues
that some of the radio traffic controlling the MIG's was in German, causing
them to speculate that East German pilots were a-foot.  Haven't a clue as
to whether this was accurate or not.
