In 1945, the US Dept refused to issue an exit visa to Rhee Syngman.
MacArthur sent an AF plane to fetch "Col. Rhee" and 'screwed' the foggy
pants.

As far as I know, Rhee joined the OSS in 1944.  His mission was to recruit
agents among the Koreans in America.  I don't know if Rhee recruited any
one.
