Somebody tell Bob about the Netpliance "I-opener" Internet appliance. It
looks like a computer screen and keyboard, but connects directly to the
Internet and provides access to web pages and access to e-mail. You can't
load software packages on it, but you don't have crashes either. It is an
immensely convenient way to get on the Internet and have access to e-mail
for people who have not become computer literate. They sell them for $99
now, and the monthly service for connection to the Internet is $23.
