We've just moved from Ariz., back to Calif. so things were/are a little 
crazy. I apologize for being late in response.
The NK boats were similar in profile to the Vosper boats built here in the 
States for the Russians during the "big war." Very low profile. In fact, our 
outfit has a crash boat and the Skipper of the "McCails Navy" MTB is the 
owner of the shipyard that has our 85 footer USAF crash boat. His name is Bud 
Tretter, a very close and personal friend of mine. He is on the CC of this 
message. The boat used in the TV series was formerly the chase boat for 
Howard Hughes  "Spruce Goose" flying boat.
