As far as I can see, the ROKA is accepting the words of mouth from KLO vets.
Some of the vets wield substantial political and economic muscles in South
Korea.  ROKA has issued official ranks to the vets as well.  Some of the
vets are highly critical of their former US handlers.

What I fear is the rising anti-US sentiments among the old generation which
has been pro-US in the past.  As more dirts are dug up, more Koreans will
turn less friendly towards the Yanks.

For example, Gen. Paik Sung Yup's group was here to investigate the Rogun-ri
affair but the US refused to cooperated with him fully.   I understand this
stout pro-American general ("the man who carried the war") returned home
empty handed and an unhappy camper.
