NK Guerrilla Activity 1953?

A 1999 publication [personal account] suggests that NK guerrilla activity 
behind the UN lines [3rd Inf Div specifically] was still  a problem as late 
as the spring and early summer of 1953.  As a rifleman with a 3rd Inf. 
Division line company at the time, I do not recall that guerrillas posed a 
threat during this final stage of the war. 

What is the evidence that NK guerrillas continued to be active during the 
three  or four months prior to the armistice in July 1953?
