Ed's ISP is down

Dear Listers!

    Contrary to what most of you may be thinking, Our Beloved Founder and 
List President for Life, Ed Evanhoe, has not fled the country.  His ISP is 
down and will likely remain so for a few more days.  So he's taking a few 
days off to go to New York and work as a consultant on the staff of "Hillary 
the Co-President" as she shamelessly carpetbags her way toward glory.

    Ed asked me to pass this "ISP down" message to you, but it is such boring 
news that I thought I'd dress it up a bit.  What are friends for?
