RE: Hill 303, Aug 15-17, 1950
ED; try my uncle; I believe he was leading or was with the patrol who found
those men (mortarmen?). He doesn't use a Puter so you'll have to call or
write him for confirmatiom. His vitals are:; george Carter; Jr.; 27 Marlow
Dr.; # C; Marlow; OK; 73055.; also; I remember the "Artificial Moonlight "
quite well. It worked well when we wanted it (Ambush Patrols; etc) and
wasn't worth a damn when we DIDN"T want it (our patrols moving about; etc).
All in all it was another + advantage we had over the Chinks at that
particular time.Have a good 'un and dodge the shoot-out strays!!!!! Bill
