I remember the search lights being used one night where there were low 
clouds.  The light was bounced off the clouds over the enemy lines.   The 
enemy lines as well as ours were so bright, I was reading a copy of the stars 
and stripes.  Kept us a wake most of the night unless you could find a way to 
cover your eyes.
As I remember, there was no enemy activity in front of us that night.
I only remember this happening a few times.
