Thanks but I have those-

But there is something I am looking for.

I have a surrender pass (Tow Shong) distributed by the Chinese around Hwachon.

I see by reading my letters home that I told my wife about it and
even tow shonged to her (wished I could have) but also noted in my
letter that
"ours are more colorful"

"Ours" meaning our propaganda leaflet urging surrender.

But I don't have one.

Does anyone know of a web site where I can one of ours displayed?

The Tow Shong one is at

On the back it has more pictures of happy GI's in POW heaven.

The power station wall at Hwachon displayed several slogans in large
white painted letters.

" We well treat P.O.W"

"Give up your arms, your safety insured"

"Your folks want you home and save!"

The wall was also covered with pock marks where GI's had fired rounds into it.

I imagine we carried on similar propaganda devices.
