Marty, is correct, but as I said the closest the 3rd or 7th Army Division came to the Chosin Reservoir was (at least)73 miles away. They may have been engaged elsewhere, but they were not at the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. The 31st and 32 nd Army Regiments, 57 F.A., the British Royal Marines, and the First Marine Division are the only people eligible to join the Chosin Few.
