Dave,

I agree.  The survival of the regime is the most important interest to Kim 
Jong Il.  If a general was to overthrow him, one bent on vengeance, then how 
do you think he would try to win over the South?

That's why I found Proud Legions so fascinating.  It brought me into the 
inner circle of North Korean leadership and showed how a gross miscalculation 
could lead to war and defeat.
