I assume you are responding to my post about "Charms".  Yes, they were about 
3/4 inch square, gumdrop-like candies.  When I got to Korea, an old gunny 
sargeant offered me his ration of  Charms. (He'd been on line a long time) I 
eagerly accepted.  But....after a couple of days, I was offering mine to 
others.  Also remember when I was on an outpost, and one Marine had been back 
to the MLR and came back with two fresh chicken eggs.  If you historians 
think the armistice talks were in depth, you have no idea of the depth of  
decision-making that occured concerning the method of cooking two fresh 
eggs!!  I realize that what I have just written is not the main thread of 
this mailing list, but maybe it adds a little color from time to time.
