New Marine Korean monograhs

I would like to call the list's attention to two new titles in the
Marine Corps Historical Center's "Marines in the Korean War
Commemorative Series." The are "Over the Seawall: U.S. Marines at
Inchon," by BGen Edwin H. Simmons, USMC, Ret., the Director Emeritus
of the Marine Corps History and Museums Division and a veteran of
Inchon and Chosin, and "Battle of the Barricades: U.S. Marines in the
Recapture of Seoul," by Col Joseph H. Alexander, USMC, Retired, who
has written a number of other Marine Corps histories and who is a
major advisor to and commentator in the Lou Reda Productions which
appear on the History Channel. Both are excellent and continue the
promise that the first monograph, about the Pusan Perimeter, gave for
the success of the series.

These titles and the rest of the titles, not yet published, can be
obtained by writing to the Director, Marine Corps Historical Center,
Bldg 58, Washington Navy Yard, Bldg 58, 901 M Street, SE, Washington,
DC 20374. BMF
