The Far East Air Forces and the 5th Air Force assumed control of the Marine 
squadrons at Kimpo.  This move was not well received at X Corps 
Headquaters, nor with the Marines themselves.  The change in control 
actually had little effect on air operations since FEAF ordered the Marine 
squadrons to continue supporting X Corps operations.

ROK I Corps troops continued to advance in the east coast sector.
