At noon, the 16th Reconnaissance Company, 1st Cavalry Division, entered 
Kaesong, followed a few hours later by elements of the 1st Battalion, 8th 
Cavalry Regiment.  Later in the afternoon patrols crossed the 38th 
Parallel.  Meanwhile, 8th Army took over control of the Seoul-Inch'on area 
and began moving its headquarters from Taegu to Seoul.

In the central sector, the ROK 6th Division continued its fight to take 
Hwach'on.   Meanwhile the ROK 8th Division crossed the Parallel and moved 
toward the "Iron Triangle" area.

The 31st and 32nd Infantry Regiments, 7th Infantry Division, arrived at 
Pusan to outload for the upcoming landing at Wonsan.
