The USAF flew in a small advance party a day or two after the Korean War
began. Information indicates these people joined the KMAG contingent and
retreated to Taejon as the North Koreans approached. Which brings up
Taejon air field (K-5) which was overrun just before the North Koreans
took the city. Could be some USAF personnel were rolled up at that time.
