Re: Ethiopian Troops

Marty,

Thanks! I did see the Kagnew posting on the koreanwar.com or .org site,
which ever it is. Very interesting posting, and I've tried to contact
him directly. Thanks for passing it along. In the much researched
(though under reported) story of the Korean War, it is unusual that such
a fascinating topic has been virtually unexamined.

I grew up in West Africa where my parents worked for about 10 years, so
African geopolitics is somewhat of a personal interest. However, as a
writer I've found few topics in that arena that merit much research,
until I discovered a small piece of the Ethiopian's story in SLA
Marshall's book on Pork Chop Hill.

Through this re-mailer, I've already "met" several Korean War vets who
knew Ethiopian troops.

Best Regards,

Dan
