Horsehockey. Get real. Given the tactical situation at the time (and the
lack of South Korean troops and National Police in that area) there is no
way South Korean police and MPs could have rounded up and executed any
where near that number. Did South Korean Army and National Police execute
some prisoners? The answer is yes, but not at Taejon. What about the 34
American bodies, hands tied behind their backs and shot in the back with
bullets fired from PpSh sub-machineguns, mixed in with the dead South
Koreans? I guess we are supposed to believe the South Korean police
rounded these guys up, tied their hands behind their backs and shot them,
using Soviet weapons. Forensics on the bodies indicate most of those
massacred there were shot by Soviet weapons
(of which the South Korean police and Army had none.)
As for the east coast invasions, I'll take the word of Americans who were
there at the time over Cummings any day.
A word to the wise: Don't try to rewrite history. It doesn't work.
