Good Morning George,
Its 0730 here at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Yes! After all the time I spent
in the service I am still working for Uncle Samuel, in a civilian capacity
however. I work for the United States Army Communications-Electronics
Command which is subordinate to Army Material Command, which is
Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. I appreciate the fact that you were
so noble to return a letter to me. I think one of the major problems that I
have subsequent to having served in both the Korean War and Viet Nam war, is
my memories and when I go into a daze, I have a problem of distinguishing
one from the other, in other words I sometimes mix apples and oranges. As
far as my Brother, I stay in contact with his widow and my Nephews and
Nieces as much as possible. My Brother's oldest son, Danny is an aviator
with the 101st Airborne, stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he is a CW3
and was a dust off pilot during desert storm. He is due to retire soon, (God
I am getting old), he left 13 grandchildren behind of course his wife and 6
children. Except for Danny and one Daughter, all reside in Pennsylvania,
where I was born and raised. But enough of that about jibber jabber. I
again, thank you for your kind words. Jay

Jay, I take my hat off to you, our country and people owe you a debt of
gratitude for the time you've given for them and the USA. I hope your
brother
was aware of what our country owed to him also before he departed this life,
having been at the Yalu where he was captured must have been one hell of an
experience. Do you live and work for the UK University? Where were you from
originally in the states? I hope you have a family and that they appreciate
your service to your country and all of us. Guess that's all for now--take
care of yourself, Sincerely, George
