This list is a pretty long one, and your best bet is to consult some of the
numerous histories available, starting with The Forgotten War and This Kind
of War. It helps to have a particular unit in mind. There are also various
unit histories available through the Marine Corps of the 1st Marine
Division. I have been looking pretty intensively for some time now of one
particular unit, the 50th AAA Bn (SP), and because it was detached out to
any number of units, divisional, corps, and army-level, it is much more like
finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.
