The book TEN CORPS IN KOREA 1950, Shelby L. Stanton, Presidio Press, 1996, 
covers the 50th AAA Bn, part of 5th Artillery Group under wing of 7th Inf Div 
- pgs. 38, 51, 1950 and pg. 293, action south of Koto-ri by the battalion 
which involved air bursts over enemy troops, defending the Marine withdrawal. 

Re the latter, Marine Corps official history says, "The slaughter continued 
for an hour as the Chinese kept on moving southward [across the field of 
fire] with that fatalism which never failed to astonish the Marines"
