Re: North Korean Version of the War

There are some truths in what the N.Koreans are claiming.

After all, the Korean War was probably the first major war
in which the US did not win it outright. It ended in a deadlock
and a ceasefire.

One clear lesson of the War is that superior Air & Naval powers
alone cannot guarantee a victory on the land. If US learned this lesson
early, perhaps, we could avoided our disaster in Vietnam.

However, it is to be noted that the North Koreans always ignore or
downplay the role of the Chinese Army in the Korean War. Obviously,
without their help, North Koreans would have lost the war. At the same
time, it goes without saying that, North Koreans would have
succeeded  in reunifying the country if the US didn't intervene in the War.
