Why don't you post a few of the excerpts to the list.  Think those would be 
interest to members.

Hi all-

   Oh Wow! I didn't anticipate the interest this was going to create in 
private e-mail. Some of you guys (and gals) have some fascinating personal 
stories :-)
   I don't have any unusual inside access to info other than a couple of 
retired NSA diplomats who I served when we were in the Air Force.
    I subscribe to CRYPTOLOGIA a quarterly journal published by the 
Department of Mathematical Sciences, United States Military Academy, West 
Point. That is where I got the information.
   I just e-mailed them to see if they will put me in touch with the author 
of the article, the guy who translated the information from Russian. His name 
is Thomas R. Hammant. 
   I will see if I can generate anything on the Korean War and , if so, I 
will post it. Should be interesting and fun.
