Ron: A Navy PB4Y-2 Privateer aircraft failed to return from an EC mission on 
April 8, 1950 over Soviet territory. This from "Soldiers of Misfortune"

On November 6, 1951, a Navy P2V-3W Neptune was shot down while on a weather 
recon mission in Sea of Japan. In November 1951, one Vladimir Trotsenko said 
he was in hospital #404 in Novosysoyevka with 4 live American POW who wore 
Navy style round dog tags. U. S. Recovery teams have excavated 3 graves in 
the Novosysoyevka cemetery, no American identities confirmed. This from 
Patricia Dickinson whose brother Jack Lively was one of the Neptune crew 
members.
