as it was during Vietnam." To say that support was low, suggests that there
was some support, it also suggests that support was lacking. Both assertions
would require the population to be making a conscience effort to come to a
decision. It was my experience that during the Korean War the only Americans
who gave any conscience thought to the war were those who had loved ones
fighting in Korea-for everyone else it was business as usual.
