Remember Dick Curless? Worked for Armed Forces Radio in Japan. In later years, he made a great recording of China Nights in both Japanese and English. Also Arirang in English and Korean. He hailed from Bangor. Also recorded "Haynesville Woods" - the truckers song. He was a member of the KWVA and is buried in the same cemetery in Bangor in which the Maine Korean War Memorial rests.
