Re: Korean War Songs

Ed and all:

Have you read the lyric? It is about bedding down Chinese women, a
Japanese guy worrying about which one of the many China-women to get.

' hana wa goko notzu, negai-wa hidotzu' (There are so many flowers,
which one should I pick?)

Does this sound OK to you folks?

Actually, China Nights (Shina no Yoru) -- from which the song came -- was a
World War Two Japanese film set in China. It is a great song, even for
those who do not understand the words. I think someone put the movie on
video cassette. It is a classic. (IMO)
