JHK789: You are exaggerating only if you don't feel good about saving the wife from abuse. But the cops (Yankees) got killed intervening in the domestic fight. I can not believe how "dumb" the brass were at the beginning of this WAR. They didn't know the husband was well armed, big and tough! But my analogy was met to justify why USA never called it a WAR. Just a theory....

Well, not exactly!
In fact, the third party, the Yangkee in this case, was committing an adultery with the Korean wife and ganged up on the Korean husband with the wife. The Yangkee's excuse in the public was that he intervened to stop the wife abuse by the Korean husband. But, in doing so, the Yangkee ended up in burning down the entire house. And the Yangkee exclaimed, "Police Action" and "In Defense of Freedom"!
Am I exaggerating too much?
