Ed, 
I know.  The sad thing is that I used to know all this stuff.  I work in a different technical area now and I've found that I've had to forget everything I used to know to make room for the things I need to know now.  Getting old just isn't as much fun as it used to be, I guess.

Now I'm confused.  I remember (from college chemistry days) Naptha as a 
thin liquid and that it had to be thickened for use in Napalm.  Could 
easily be wrong.
