Fwd: New Korean War Book

Hi,

I have written a book about my grandfather's experiences in the Korean
War. He served in the Army's 24th Infantry Division as an infantryman and
then as an engineer. The book is a compilation of letters that he wrote to
my grandmother from the war. I have the opportunity to offer the book to
"freinds and family" for a 30% discount, and I would like to extend that
offer to all veterans. The University Press of America is publishing the
book in mid-August 2001. If you place your order by June 25th then you may
get the 30% discount. To place an order, please call UPA at 1-800-462-6420
and refer to ISBN # 0-7618-2047-7. The tilte is Destination Korea and my
grandfather's name is Dana Abbott Curtis (and mine is Jennifer Willand
Dillard).
He may have been one of the "Chosin Few." He was injured in December
1950 and taken out of battle temporarily (and then reassigned to the
engineers). Most of his fighting was done at and around the 38th parallel.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for serving. I have garnered more
of an appreciation for our servicemen than I already had. You are a member
of a heroic generation.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Willand Dillard
