Sounds like Pentagon considers the Korean War ended in 7/53.
This is not true. The Korean War is still continuing legally speaking.
How about all those G.I.s died in DMZ battles in the 60's?
Do you have any post-Armistice casualty figure?
We should add the post-Armistice casualty to the total
casualty figure of the Korean War.

John - As I understand it, the post-Armistice deaths for Korea will be lumped
together with other non-hostile deaths worldwide for the 50-53 period to form
a roster of 17,000+ names. The DOD, though, is having a problem getting these
numbers from several of the respective Services.
As regards the DMZ, there is a move afoot to award a Korea Defense Service
Medal for DMZ service from July 28, 1954 forward. Here is an article on the
subject.
