Oh shit! another book to buy and read, and I'm sure I'll love every minute
of it. Was at B and N yesterday and came back with "The Yokota Officers Club"
and a new one out "Kilroy Was Here". Talk about timely.
I've got so many books now my wife says I'm either going to have to give
them to the University or to the Moraga library or she's going to start
throwing them away. That's easy for her to say. She hasn't been collecting
them for the last 50 years. Those books are dear to me and giving them away
would be like losing part of me. I know I've got to do it but I just can't
bring myself to it. Sound familiar? :-)
Joe, do you know Charles Shields? He was an op with the 1st RSM USAFSS (as
was I) and went on to a career as a ranking NSA diplomat. He's retired now
and lives in W. Virginia. I'd like to get him to join us but he is
anti-computer. Something like "not gentlemanly to read other people's mail".
:-)
Welcome to the club, Joe. I hope you can bring some civility to Col. Hass.
