The F-84 thing sounds interesting, would love to see more on it. Surprised

   Yes, I think you're right on. Although the program mentioned that they 
used F-114 or maybe F-116 later on in the program.
   You also sound right on the '86 rather than the slower '84 during the 
Korean War It is my understanding these planes were unarmed.
