I am afraid that you are wrong on above history.
Kim Il Sung & his group fought against the Japanese
with the Chinese communist forces in Manchuria.
Korean nationalists in Chungking, China cooperated
with OSS, were trained by OSS, and were supposed to be
dropped into Korea when the War suddenly ended.
