Re: "Mr. Zampini's" orders on how he will be addressed

Mr. Ramos:
The reason why I told to Mr. Newcomb “For you, I’m Mr. Zampini” have nothing 
to do with arrogance or grandeur dreams. I you read again my message, you 
will note that I started with the addressing “Mr. Newcomb”, not “Tony”. It 
was the first time I met him, so I did not want to call him by his first 
name. And I asked for the same treatment, thing that happened fair to me. He 
call me “Diego”, as we knew each other from all our lives and I did not call 
him “Tony”. I repeat, I only asked for the same addressing I already gave. 
You had already note that I addressed you as “Mr. Ramos” and not for your 
first name or nickname. And I will not do that until you authorize me to 
call you that way.
Addittionally, I’m not rich –I’m a member of a middle-low class’s family- 
and I must work everyday to earn my money. I don’t think I’m superior to any 
other human being, and I don’t think than “I’m better than you” or any other 
bullshit. I’m not racist at all.
Si ud. me conociera personalmente, Señor Ramos, vería que soy todo lo 
contrario, soy una persona humilde que solo pide el mismo respeto que está 
dispuesto a dar. Ni más ni menos. Sé que a veces mi gente -los argentinos- 
tienen fama de “agrandados” (arrogantes) entre el resto de la comunidad 
latinoamericana, pero yo no soy uno de ellos. Y no hago distinción por 
cuanto dinero tengan.
Espero con esta aclaración haber dejado atrás un tema totalmente secundario 
como es el de un addressing (tratamiento) y volver al tema principal: Por su 
intermedio además quiero dar mis más sinceras y sentidas condolencias a 
todos los miembros de la comunidad latina que murieron en el criminal ataque 
a las Torres Gemelas del World Trade Center (más de 100 colombianos, 9 
españoles, 4 de mis compatriotas y muchos más). Y mi deseo de la pronta 
aprensión de los responsables. En eso creo que estaremos totalmente de 
acuerdo.
