list.  I would imagine that memoirs of the Korean War fall within the
parameters of  list topics, and that others would also be interested.  I use
memoirs extensively, but am always pleased to learn of ones I'm not familiar
with.  Thanks for your interest.

As to the question of Korean language experts - the Army published a study
titled "Language Problems of the US Army during Hostilities in Korea"
(Technical Memorandum ORO-T-356) in 1958.  The authors were Wesly R. Fishel
and Alfred H. Hausrath, and I know for certain that the Military History
Institute at Carlisle Barracks, PA has it.  What I don't know for certain is
whether it will answer the questions asked.
