I think MAC wanted to use the ROC troops in Korea, but
the State Dept. officials refused because they
didn't want to invite PRC into the war by doing so.

However, I remember reading that some ROC
soldiers were sent into the Koje POW camps
to persuade PRC POWs to defect to Taiwan.
