I don't know how you can find more info on the ship.

I am interested in hearing more of your personal story
during that time. Can you tell us what position
your father held at the Embassy? Do you know
who made the decision to evacuate US citizens?
What time were you ordered to leave Seoul?
Why was a foreign ship used to evacuate?
