Re: off topic .... isn't it worth discussing anyway

i just don't see why it's necessary to always stick to the one topic of discussion that's all ...... i mean if you think about it all events of historic importance are linked in some way, the korean war was a struggle between capitalism and socialism, as was the cold war, and it was due to the coldwar that Bin Laden was able to begin building up his network of terrorism ... i mean that's quite a vague relationship but it shows how other events are in some way related to the korean war, don't you think?

and anyway it was the patriotic poem about america's flag that got the discussion on to what america symbolises... haven't seen anyone condemning that, which is not specific to korea and therefore off topic!
