Well, this is a big topic with much secrets.
There was an International Commission that visited China & N.Korea
in 1952 to investigate the incidents of germ warfare reported by the
two counries. It was headed by a respected British scientist and
a written report was published after their visit. I think this report
is still available in the major public libraries.

The US dismissed the report as a communist propaganda at that time.

However, in light of the new fact the US Army conducted a germ test
over San Francisco in 1950, I don't think we can rule out the
possibility that the US may have also conducted some germ
weapon experiments during the Korean War.

The best book on this topic I ever read was "The US and Biological Warfare"
by Prof. Stephen Endicott. I highly recommend it.
