There is a cemetery near Hanoi for the NK pilots
shot down. BTW, NK pilots flew with Mubarek's pilots
during the Yom Kipper War and the fellow who commanded the NK detachment in
Egypt met Bill Clinton at the White House last year..

Mike,
They were fighting their own war of
liberation from the French at the time and did not participate as far as
anyone knows. There appears to have been some cooperation between 1954 and
1967, however, which went south when KPAFAC pilots begin getting shot down in
large numbers and taking a good portion of the VPAF's MiG-17 force with them
when they went.
