Re: More on No Gun Ri



I would hesitate to speak for the other members, but
as I remember from previous discussions, quite a few
are skeptical about it.

You will find some discussion of this subject on the
May 2000 link and some more on the April 2001 link
(that compares it with the Senator Bob Kerrey
atrocities.

One of the main ex-soldiers, Ed Daily, qouted by the
AP was later discredited.  It turns out he was in some
kind of rear-echelon maintenance at the time and did
not join the 7th Cavalry Regiment until much later.  

Unfortunately, some of the allegations must be true. 
The reporters found orders in unit journals that seem
to direct units to fire at refugees under some
circumstances.
