SHAFR 2002/Korean Panel (Schulman)
From: Ephraim Schulman <ephraim22@hotmail.com>
Since we are in the midst of the 50th anniversary of the Korean War, still
often regarded as the 'unknown war', it would be most appropriate for SHAFR
to include in its next annual conference a session on the Truman
Administration and the Korean War. A number of issues involved in that war
come to mind that have yet to receive appropriate attention. 1. "Did
Truman's entrance into Korea violate the Constitution and the U.N. charter?"
2. "What plans existed respecting possible use of the Atomic bomb?" 3. "Was
there any substance to the charge that theU.S. experimented With Biological
Weapons?" 4. "Did the U. S. Violate the MAA of July 27, 1953?" Those who
would like to participate in this panel should contact me directly. The
topics are not nessarily limited to the above. All papers would be limited
to strictly 20 minutes.
